Turnstile are bigger than hardcore now. Since last year’s Glow On launched them into a level of popularity that few (if any) prior hardcore bands have ever achieved, they’ve appeared on late night shows, video game soundtracks, tour lineups with Blink-182 and many other more mainstream spaces. Now, add Taco Bell ad to their list of achievements.
A portion of Turnstile’s song, “Holiday” (a highlight from Glow On), has been used as the soundtrack for a 15-second commercial that Taco Bell are running on TikTok.
The visual features the band’s bouncy, elated guitar riff scoring a close-up shot of crispy fries being seasoned and dipped into a dish of nacho cheese sauce. It’s not the type of media where you would’ve expected to find Turnstile a couple years ago, but the band are now big enough to have their jams bumped by major fast food brands. Pretty wild.
