Queens of the Stone Age have shared a nightmarish animated video for “Head Like a Haunted House,” a jittery highlight from last year’s Villains LP. Directed by Liam “Drinking Out of Cups” Lynch, the visual plays out like a roller-coaster ride through Pixar hell, complete with an array of dark, wacky set pieces: zombie unicorns, dancing skeletons, sentient middle fingers, and at one point, the band flying through the night on flying coffins. Think of it as a jaunt through the Haunted Mansion at Disney World … on LSD.
Queens’ crazy new video arrives ahead of their upcoming slew of North American and European dates. The global jaunt, which kicks off this week in San Diego, California, includes a guest-filled headlining gig at London’s Finsbury Park on June 30th, with support from Iggy Pop, Run the Jewels, The Hives, Brody Dalle, and more.
