New York City’s Uniform sit at the front lines of the current new wave of industrial music, and the making of their forthcoming debut album as a trio, The Long Walk, is chronicled in the band’s impressionistic new in-studio mini-doc, shot by Revolver contributor Sean Stout.
Captured mostly on 8mm film, the extended clip shows the group — Michael Berdan, Ben Greenberg and Greg Fox — hard at work in Strange Weather Studios in Brooklyn, hashing out their new LP for Sacred Bones (due on August 17th; pre-order yours). The band’s lead single “The Walk,” as well as Charles Bukowski’s classic The Genius of the Crowd, provide the soundtrack to the stark, black-and-white behind-the-scenes footage.
