Marilyn Manson began a European summer tour over the weekend, and used his performance at Spain’s Resurrection Festival to formally debut “Exit Wound” — the first single from his forthcoming One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 — in his band’s live set.
The Saturday night (July 4th) performance took place at Viveiro, Spaon’s Campo de fútbol Celeiro, and Manson’s headlining set on the main stage closed out the fourth night of Resurrection Festival.
The night began with One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1’s “Nod If You Understand,” and likewise found Manson and Co. performing that album’s “As Sick as the Secrets Within.” The Chapter 2 era is upon us, though, so Manson and his group lunged into the song about midway through their set.
Manson’s Resurrection setlist also included cuts off Antichrist Superstar, The Dope Show and more, and closed out with his cover of Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” — something he hadn’t performed since 2017.

Manson’s European tour resumes tonight (July 6th) at Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest in Seville, Spain. Later this fall, he performs a handful of 30th anniversary shows behind Antichrist Superstar in L.A.
As for One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2, the album is due out August 14th via Nuclear Blast Records. Both the CD edition and a Revolver-exclusive “Green w/ Black Splatter” 12-inch vinyl variant, limited to 500, are available to pre-order in our shop.
