Limp Bizkit’s current “Welcome to Loserville” tour has naturally found the nu-metal daddies dropping into some of their biggest hits. But at last night’s (August 22nd) performance at Ridgefield, Washington’s RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater, the group dug way into their archive and delivered Three Dollar Bill Y’all deep cut “Clunk” for the first time in over 14 years.
Even before the show took place, video started surfacing online of guitarist Wes Borland and drummer John Otto jamming the old song during soundcheck. When the Bizkit officially dropped into the song for the Washington State fandom, vocalist Fred Durst seemed kinda surprised to be playing the rap-rock rarity in public. “Are we really playing this motherfucker?” he quipped through a breakdown, as you can see in the fan-shot footage down below.
Per Setlist.fm, the last time Bizkit performed “Clunk” was at a 2010 concert in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and even then they didn’t play it in full. Limp Bizkit basically pulled the song out of their setlist back in 1998.
As for the rest of last night’s show, the group ripped into fan favorites like “Break Stuff,” “My Generation” and “Nookie,” performed their live-staple cover of “Behind Blue Eyes,” and also took stabs at Pantera’s “Walk” and a Primus double-shot of “Jerry Was a Racecar Driver” and “My Name is Mud.” You’ll find the full setlist down below (via Setlist.fm).
