See PRIMUS cover DIO’s “Holy Diver” with DEATH ANGEL’s MARK OSEGUEDA

Primus brought their cover of Dio’s “Holy Diver” back into their set a couple times over the past few days, and both performances featured the voice of an Angel — Death Angel frontman Mark Osegueda, if we’re getting specific.

They first rode the tiger together at the Motocultor Festival 2026 in Carhaix-Plouguer, France, last Thursday (August 13th). Primus had Osegueda rejoin them a couple days later (August 15th) at the Dynamo Metal Fest in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Osegueda, who has also spent the past couple of years fronting Kerry King’s band, delivered a solid take of the Eighties anthem. In other words, you knew his performance would be clean. You can see what we mean by peeping the fan-shoot footage of both performances up above and down below.

As previously reported, Primus have been playing the trad-metal classic over the past few years, having previously hit the song on-stage with crooning clown Puddles Pity Party. Their recent A Handful of Nuggs EP also includes a version of the song with PPP on the mic.

A pair of exclusive color vinyl pressings of that EP, as well as other Primus releases, are available Revolver’s shop.
