Pantera supersized their lineup in Paris, France over the weekend, with the reunited groove-kings having invited another royal on-stage to help them get through their iconic “Walk”: none other than Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson.
The team-up took place on Saturday night (February 15th) at Paris’ Adidas Arena, where Anselmo noted to a packed crowd that the Air-Raid Siren was in attendance.
“The singer from fucking Iron Maiden is here” Anselmo said near-incredulously, current Pantera drummer and Anthrax skinsman Charlie Benante quickly dropping into his best “Run to the Hills” beat before the frontman gave Dickinson some more praise. “Dude’s got an incredible voice. I do consider him on of the…I mean, he’s one of the kings, you know? For damn sure. Absolutely, let’s not bullshit ourselves.”
While Anselmo suggested the whole damn Adidas Arena sing along to their Vulgar “Walk,” Dickinson popped out on-stage after the second verse. Anselmo briefly dropped to his knees as the guest singer added a few percussively-‘tudey barks. He also got in a more Dickinson-style wail near the end.

Pantera’s current European tour continues tomorrow (February 18th) at Glasgow, UK’s OVO Hydro. Later this year, Pantera resume opening duties on Metallica’s ongoing M72 World Tour.
