Rush have announced that they’ve added 17 dates to next year’s much-anticipated tour, the prog-rock legends’ first concert trek in 11 years.
Earlier this month, bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson announced that they’d be taking their iconic songbook back on the road in 2026, with German drummer Anika Nilles sitting behind the kit in place of the late Neil Peart.
Initially, the band had announced a 12-show schedule including stops in Los Angeles, California and Toronto, Ontario, but that soon expanded into a number of additional concerts in some of those cities.
This morning (October 20th), the show schedule expanded even further, with Rush now set to perform 40 shows next year. Newly added U.S. stops include Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Detroit, Michigan and Boston, Massachusetts in late August, while they’ll hit the Pacific Northwest, parts of California, and Florida a little later in the fall.
The Canadian band have also added Up North dates in Montreal, Quebec, Edmonton, Alberta, and they’ll close out the year at Vancouver, BC’s Rogers Arena on December 15th.
All of the previously announced dates have already sold out. Artist pre-sales for the newly announced gigs are live next Monday (October 27th), while general on-sales are up on Halloween (October 31st). You can find out more ticketing info and sign up for pre-sale access over here.
