REVOLVER teams with JAY WEINBERG for first vinyl release under his own name

Following his recent relinquishment of the drum throne in Suicidal Tendencies, multi-instrumentalist and Slipknot alum Jay Weinberg has been busy developing a collaborative singles series. The project is off to an auspicious start with two hard-hitting entries: November’s blackgazing “Sandstone” featuring Deafheaven vocalist George Clarke, and this month’s noise-ravaged “Drone Operator” with NOWHERE2RUN, a.k.a. Code Orange‘s Jami Morgan and Shade Balderose.

Now, Weinberg has teamed with Revolver for a vinyl pressing of both those songs, marking his first physical release under his own name.

The exclusive 12″ single of “Drone Operator” and “Sandstone” comes on gorgeous “Green & Purple Starburst” wax, with stunning artwork and design — including an etched B-side — by visual artist and noted Mastodon collaborator Paul Romano.
