Revolver “No Gods, No Masters” Issue Release Party: See Photos of Exclusive Event

Revolver celebrated its Feb/Mar 2019 “No Gods, No Masters” issue — featuring cover artists Chelsea Wolfe and Ghostemane — by hosting a party at the Lower East Side nightclub Vandal New York, which is owned by world-renowned celebrity chef and diehard metalhead Chris Santos. The event was sponsored by Blackened American Whiskey. Industry professionals, well-known musicians and local artists got together and enjoyed “Fade to Black” drink specials all night, specifically tailored for the event courtesy of the main sponsor, while John Lamacchia, guitarist and co-founder of Candiria, MC’d and spun tunes ranging from Sepultura to the Cure.

Attendees included former Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman, Nuclear Blast’s Monte Conner (best known for his time at Roadrunner, where he signed Slipknot, Type O Negative, Gojira, Machine Head, Trivium and more), Frank Godla (co-founder of Metal Injection) and Rabab Al-Sharif (Editor in Chief of Loudwire), along with members of Incendiary, dälek, H2O, Skarhead, Spotlights, Concrete Dream, Wings Denied and Activator, and staffers from MTV, Columbia Records and Roadrunner Records.
