REVOLVER celebrates MASTODON’s 25th anniversary with deluxe collector’s issue

2025 marks Mastodon‘s 25th anniversary, and Revolver is celebrating that major milestone with a special collector’s issue. In new, exclusive interviews, Brann Dailor, Bill Kelliher and Troy Sanders tell the story of Mastodon (so far) — from Atlanta’s underground to the forefront of heavy music, through triumph and tragedy.

The 100-page deluxe magazine is thicker than a standard issue of Revolver, without any ads, features embossed type and UV coating on its cover, as well as rare, career-spanning, all-access photography throughout, and commentary by members of TOOL, Slayer, Judas Priest, Gojira and more.

Three collectible covers are available: a current-lineup cover by Sean Murphy, a Leviathan-era cover by Jimmy Hubbard, and an illustrated cover by visual artist and longtime Mastodon collaborator Paul Romano. The issue is also available to order in a limited-edition slipcase, and can be bundled together alongside exclusive vinyl editions of classic Mastodon albums Leviathan, Blood Mountain, Crack the Skye, The Hunter and Emperor of Sand, packaged with new reimagined art work by Romano.

This collector’s edition magazine is strictly limited. You can order yours now in Revolver‘s shop, which likewise features a variety of exclusive Mastodon T-shirts, black light posters, slipmats and more.
