Revolver “Attitude” Issue Release Party: See Photos of Exclusive Event

Revolver celebrated its Apr/May 2019 “Attitude” issue — featuring cover artists Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie — by hosting a party at the Lower East Side nightclub Vandal New York, which is owned by world-renowned celebrity chef and diehard metalhead Chris Santos. The event was sponsored by Blackened American Whiskey and Strüng. Industry professionals, well-known musicians and local artists got together and enjoyed “Fade to Black” drink specials all night, specifically tailored for the event courtesy of Blackened. Will Brooks, of Ipecac Recordings’ dälek, spun tunes ranging from hip-hop to post-punk to metal for the first two hours, while Joseph D. Rowland, bassist and vocalist of Pallbearer, spun mostly Italo disco and new wave.

Attendees included famed tattoo artist Paul Booth as well as current and former members of Pallbearer, dälek, Baroness, Revocation, Battles, Tomahawk, Helmet, Primitive Weapons, Spotlights, Confines, Candiria, Vaureen, Vision of Disorder, Kings Bounty/Outburst, Crown of Thornz, Breakdown, Activator, Eve Minor, Wings Denied, Solemn Vision and Arsonists, to name a few. Stay tuned for details on the next issue release party.
