PALEFACE SWISS release new EP, debut “Withering Flower” video

Paleface Swiss have kicked off 2026 with a bang. The rising metal group told Revolver last year that they wanted to be “the heaviest, most raw aggressive band,” and they’ve channeled that impulse in a new EP, titled The Wilted. The record dropped today (January 2nd) accompanied by a striking music video for standout cut “Withering Flower,” directed by Kriss Jakob.

The Wilted represents a continuation of the harrowing direction of Paleface Swiss’ breakthrough 2025 album, Cursed — as can be heard on “Withering Flower.” The song is spiked with all the band’s signature ferocity while also showcasing their more melodic inclinations. That melodicism, as well as plenty of bleeding vulnerability, is on full display on the EPs “Everything Is Fine,” a raw power ballad that tells “the story of two lovers caught in situations they cannot change,” according to Paleface frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger.

The five-song EP also features the Stick to Your Guns collab “Instrument of War” and the night-terrors-fueled beatdown “Let Me Sleep.” The Wilted is out now via Blood Blast Distribution.
