Hear PALEFACE SWISS’ raw power ballad “Everything Is Fine”

If you’re used to hearing Paleface Swiss sound like the deathcore-bred offspring of Iowa-era Slipknot, it’s time to listen anew. The four-piece have just unveiled a surprising new single, “Everything Is Fine,” which might mark the launch of their Subliminal Verses period, to continue the metaphor.

The song is a raw, emotionally vulnerable power ballad — brutal but in a very different way than usual — and it arrived today (December 2nd) accompanied by a fittingly harrowing music video that portrays two young lovers as they deal with a tragic turn of events neither can do anything to stop. Watch and listen above.

“’Everything Is Fine’ tells the story of two lovers caught in situations they cannot change,” says frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger. “They face unfair trials that wound them, yet they try to accept what neither wants to accept. In trying to numb the pain, it only cuts deeper because they keep asking why love fails even when they’ve done everything right.”

“Everything Is Fine” is the final single off Paleface Swiss’ The Wilted EP, which is due out January 2nd.
