Hear NATHAN JAMES and ORGY team on nu-metal banger “Nails”

Nathan James describes his music, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, as “Nu Nu-Metal,” and he fully leans into those roots with his latest single. Titled “Nails,” the song features late-Nineties nu-dustrial favorites ORGY, and it’s premiering right here right now with Revolver, along with its high-octane music video.

“Nails” seamlessly fuses James’ modern rap-metal attack with ORGY’s time-tested goth-scarred sound, while the video captures the two generations of nu-metal artists together in action, joined by a bevy of leather-strapped women who ultimately duke it out in a boxing ring. Excuse the pun, but after the fighting, they might need stitches.

“’Nails’ is about the kind of love that’s fierce, unbreakable and deeply devoted,” James tells Revolver. “It’s a reflection of a relationship where your partner would go through anything no matter how painful to prove their love for you. The song explores both the physical and emotional intensity of being so connected to someone that it feels sacred, even sacrificial. It’s about fighting for real love and surrendering fully to that bond.”

ORGY’s Jay Gordon adds: “‘Nails’ is a really powerful track and from the second Nathan James brought the idea over I knew that I wanted to link and collab on it. I think people are gonna love it cause it’s got all the sauce the seductive the melodic and most important it’s heavy AF! I fuck with it. Check it out for yourself!”

“Nails” will appear on James’ forthcoming debut album, Hollywood Mortician, which is due out July 11th via CrowdKill Records, a newly launched label founded by Lorenzo Antonucci, former EVP of Business Development and A&R at Sumerian Records and guitarist of hardcore veterans Sworn Enemy.
