Metal bands don’t get invited to fancy parties all that often (can’t imagine why…), but when they do, the band members inevitably take advantage of the opportunity to deck out in their finest duds. No headbanging crew will likely ever top the sartorial greatness of Mastodon at the Grammys, but this year’s cast of heavy-music nominees did do their best to present themselves — and represent our tribe — on the red carpet with grace and style.
