Mayhem Festival have announced plans to rebrand in 2025 as “Miss Mayhem,” and per organizers, the traveling tour will feature “an all-female-fronted bill.”
During an interview with Rock Feed [via The PRP], current fest promoter Ash Avildsen — who was there to promote the new Queen of the Ring biopic he wrote and directed — was asked about the future of Mayhem Festival, which returned under his guard in 2024 as a one-day event in San Bernardino, California.
As he’d previously suggested to Revolver in our feature on the fest last year, Mayhem is now expected to go forward as a fuller traveling festival, as it had between 2008-15.
What’ll be different, however, is that the expected 8-band event will comprise an “all-female-fronted bill,” though the details on the acts involved are currently under wraps.
“I can share that it’s called ‘Miss Mayhem‘, and it’s all-female,” he told Rock Feed as he was scrolling through a text chain with an undisclosed band about various production details .
He added: “It’s all set up to be an all-female-fronted bill. And we have, you know, seven of the eight acts, but this eighth act is higher up at the bill. We need to make sure that it lands so it’s a co-headline and all this stuff.”
