For us here at Revolver HQ, the best cut on Korn‘s latest album, 2022’s Requiem, is hands down the closer, “Worst Is on Its Way” — and we don’t seem to be alone in feeling that way. Recognizing the fan favorite, the nu-metal godfathers premiered today (November 17th) a gnarly new remix of the song, courtesy of industrial rockers HEALTH.
The remix flips the aggro alt-metal number into a noisy, industrial-rap track complete with guest verses from hip-hop artists Danny Brown and Flatbush Zombies’ Meechy Darko. Brown previously outed himself as a big-time Korn fan in 2021, when he covered Korn’s signature song “Freak on a Leash.” Check out the new “Worst Is on Its Way” remix above, along with its gritty, black-and-white music video.
