The Jesus Lizard have announced their first concerts in nearly a decade. Come December, the noise-rock trailblazers will hit the road for a brief North American tour, hitting up major cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles; the trek wraps up December 16th and 17th with an appearance at the Day for Night Festival in Houston, Texas. The Jesus Lizard last stormed the stage in 2009, amidst their brief reunion tour at the tail end of the aughts. (The group officially called it quits in 1999, following the release of its sixth album, Blue, released the year prior.) More recently, in 2013, frontman David Yow branched out into solo work with his first-ever standalone album, Thought You Look Like a Spider.
