Hear SANGUISUGABOGG’s new tech-death single “Permanently Fucked”

The ‘Bogg is back, everybody. Nearly a year on from the release of Sanguisugabogg’s Homicidal Ecstasy album, the increasingly techy Ohio players have now unearthed a leftover track from those same recording sessions. Better late than never, their “Permanently Fucked” is streaming now.

The track begins with an epically claustrophobic assault of crushing guitar blows and hyperactive, jazz-accented snare blasting, but winds through several movements of super disgusting riffage.

The video mostly takes on a performance-style feel, with Sanguisugabogg mashing it out in some kind of warehouse. That said, the vid also goes for the gore as a captive man in a cage grabs the nearest box cutter and gets up to some serious self-harm.

“The meaning of the song is a drastically blown out of proportion way of showing how much you love someone,” the band explained in a statement. “We got inspiration of the song from the 2018 horror film Pet, where Dominic Monaghan’s character volunteers himself as a vice for Ksenia Solo’s character so she can torture and humiliate them and they’re bound to their cage so she doesn’t free the urge to murder someone instinctively and doesn’t get arrested or imprisoned for killing people.”

As previously reported, Sanguisugabogg will be out on the road this fall supporting Lorna Shore’s “Pain Remains” tour, which also features Whitechapel and Kublai Khan TX. You’ll find the full breakdown of those dates here.
