Saliva have kicked off their next chapter with the release of new single “Time Bomb,” featuring post-grunge vocalist Peyton Parrish. The song is the hard-rock veterans’ first release for Judge & Jury Records, the record label founded by the multi-platinum producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Seether, Of Mice & Men) and Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace. It’s also Saliva’s first new music since the tragic death of guitarist Wayne Swinny in March 2023.
Speaking of the single, Saliva vocalist Bobby Amaru commented: “‘Time Bomb’ is about those experiences we all have in life where it feels like it’s you against the world. There’s always gonna be haters and for me it’s good to let it out and write how I’m feeling.”
He added: “Time Bomb is about the determination and resilience it takes to persevere and overcome those moments. People are always gonna try and test you in life, but you have to take it and use it to stay focused and be in control of your destiny!”
Saliva announced their decision to continue after Swinny death in late April 2023, explaining: “After careful consideration, and with the support of his family, we have made the decision to pay tribute to his legacy the best way we know how, through our music.”
To that end, Saliva have a busy 2025 in store, including more touring and a deluxe version of Revelation, their latest album and last with Swinny, Revelation : Retold.
