After a headline-making and polarizing hype campaign, mysterious masked sensations PRESIDENT have finally released their debut EP, King of Terrors, which includes two previously unheard songs, “Dionysus” and “Conclave.”
The first takes its name from the ancient Greek god also known as Bacchus, the deity of wine, fertility, festivity, insanity, religious ecstasy, and more. It opens with pummeling djenty riffery before The Artist switches up the vibe with his effects-soaked melodic vocals, which build to an ecstatic, major-keyed earworm chorus.
The second leans into PRESIDENT’s mellower and more-pop-oriented side, while still exuding a dark, claustrophobic atmosphere.

Revolver’s exclusive “grey marble” vinyl edition of King of Terrors sold out almost immediately, as did our limited-edition “pink & black starburst” vinyl 12-inch of the singles “In the Name of the Father” and “Fearless,” the group’s first-ever physical music release. But we’ve still got a PRESIDENT turntable slipmat and a pair of T-shirts in the store.
PRESIDENT are due to hit the U.S. for shows in New York and Los Angeles this December. An already sold-out European tour follows in January.
