Hear OF MICE & MEN’s explosive anthem “Another Miracle”

It’s some kind of melodic, metalcore miracle: Of Mice & Men have returned with their first single since 2023. The long-running California quartet have just unveiled a tune called “Another Miracle,” and it marks their first piece of music since signing to their new label home, Century Media Records.

A press release notes that OM&M self-produced the song, which locks into beefy, chug-trilled metal riffs, hippo-heavy drum patterns and digitalized ambiance. The band’s Aaron Pauley uses fiery screams and a weighty croon to weigh in on the cynicism of society, solipsism, and the lack of hope that gloms on to some through these ever-trying times (“We’ve forgotten how to dream,” he power-croons at one point).

“Life is hard. No matter who you are, you’re fighting battles big and small on a daily basis,”  Pauley said in in a statement. “A lot of the time, we feel that the uniqueness of our circumstance prevents connecting with others. ‘How could anyone possibly know what it’s like to go through what I’m going through?’”

He continues: “That being said, everyone, and I mean everyone, knows what it’s like to wish for a miracle during a time when everything seems hopeless. It seems to be one of those core human experiences that ties us all together. That’s exactly what ‘Another Miracle’ is about and we hope you enjoy it.”

The band’s latest single is streaming now via a big budget video that merges shots of OM&M performing on a rooftop with a high-stakes operation run by a shadowy, SWAT-style presence. Filled with big riffs, drone footage and Marvel movie-adjacent sci-fi effects, the video is streaming up above.
