Nu-metal-lovin’ country artist Hardy has gone from impersonating Fred Durst in his “ROCKSTAR” video, to working with the Limp Bizkit leader on his latest album. The proof is in the pair’s new collaborative “SOUL4SALE,” which popped up today (July 12th) on Hardy’s newly released Quit!!
The Faustian sad-rock song starts off with Hardy attempting to pawn off his eternal soul in a parking lot, apparently trying to make a few more bucks so he can retire with a garage full of sportscars and a round of drinks with his friends.
Like a devil on Hardy’s shoulder, Durst drops by to reinforce his buddy’s desire for those pricey whips, but likewise uses his “country Bizkit rhymin’” to contemplate resurrecting Jesus using a piece of the Cross. It’s a wild guest verse, and you can check it out for yourself up above.
Out today, Hardy’s Quit!! likewise includes the “ROCKSTAR” single, as well as his “GOOD GIRL PHASE” collaboration with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

As for Durst, the Bizkit frontman has been in his country phase for a while now, having premiered his “nu-metal cowboy” look in 2023, and brought out Jelly Roll for a live duet at Welcome to Rockville earlier this year.
