Hear KNOCKED LOOSE side project XWEAPONX’s straight-edge rager “Everybody Breaks”

Just in time for Saint Patrick’s Day, XweaponX — the metallic hardcore group featuring members of Knocked Loose, Gates to Hell and more — have served up a defiantly frosty and rage-frothy straight edge anthem called “Everybody Breaks.”

The tune is the latest to arrive from the Louisville quintet, whose lineup includes Knocked Loose’s Isaac Hale and Bryan Garris, Gates to Hell drummer Trey Garris, and vocalist Dave Baugher. It’s added in a press release that “Everybody Breaks” acts as “a call to arms against self-destruction and an outright accusation of weakness of spirit.”

Accordingly, the monstrously chugged and two-stepped hardcore cut reflects promises made, oaths broken and suggestions that only the strong-of-will can maintain a sxe mindset (“You don’t have what it takes”). You can hear Baugher and Bryan Garris go hard on the mic with their Edge-lording up above.

“Everybody Breaks” was recorded by Hale, was later mixed and mastered by Zach Tuch and is now streaming courtesy of DAZE Records. The label likewise note that a new XweaponX record is on the way in April.

XweaponX are next set to perform April 25th at the LDB Fest in Louisville, Kentucky, alongside Superheaven, Cold World, Basement, God’s Hate, Fury, High Vis and more.
