Hear industrial-metal upstarts PUREST FORM’s incendiary new single “Burn”

Rising industrial trio Purest Form are setting fire to society as we know it, through a new revolution-anticipating anthem. Coming hot on the heels of the L.A. outfit’s Revolver-championed 2024 self-titled EP, the new standalone single is the incendiary “Burn.”

While the track leans into the same classic industrial sounds Purest Form have unearthed thus far — think Ministry-worshipping guitar chunking and the broader four-on-the-four pounding of the Wax Trax! back catalog — vocalist Story Beeson’s screams beseech a scorched-earth reckoning that lets us reset the rest of the world’s insanity (“burn the lies… burn the flesh… burn whatever’s left”).

Beeson notes of the new single: “We have a burning fantasy to set fire to a complacent retroactive society. Start new. Start present. See things for what they are and destroy corrupt and evil monoliths of war.”

You can check out the video, which finds Beeson, guitarist-programmer Madison Woodward (Fury, Object of Affection) and bassist Riley Joyner (Pocketknife) running through the heavy dancefloor filler on a hot-hued soundstage, up above. “Burn” is likewise streaming on various platforms.

Purest Form are also playing a handful of local shows through the fall. You’ll find the date and venue details below.
