Electric Callboy want you to feel the beat of their new tune, “TANZNEID.” The eccentric electronicore elevator operators are back with a brand new single built for dance floors and mosh pits alike.
A press release notes that this latest track is about “the moment when music takes complete control,” with Electric Callboy kicking off the cut with sweaty four-on-the-floor rhythms, synth-surged melodies and breathy lyrics about those times when you feel the beat deep in your legs.
“With ‘TANZNEID,’ we wanted to capture that wild tension between heavy energy and pure dancefloor madness,” the outfit wrote in a joint statement. “Turning our music into a party where everyone belongs. Playful, catchy, and powerful — that’s ‘TANZNEID’.”
As with other Callboy party anthems, the German outfit blend that pounding EDM feel with thick-and-meaty metalcore chugging and howls aplenty. This all scores a new, energetic music video directed by visual collaborators Schillobros. The clip — which finds the Callboys portraying alien invaders set on dumping rhythms on you in your bedrooms, movie theatres and bathrooms — can be seen up above.
The arrival of “TANZNEID” seemed inevitable. Electric Callboy’s next batch of concert dates are billed as the “TANZNEID” tour, this including a recently announced run of North American dates due to kick off next spring.
Those U.S. and Canadian concert appearances will feature support sets from Australian progressive metalcore act Polaris and “bimbocore” act Scene Queen. You’ll find more info on the show schedule here.
