Though Disturbed are just about ready to spread the sickness again by celebrating their debut album on a 25th anniversary tour, the nu-metal veterans are likewise bracing fans for a bold and heavy new era. Specifically, the band just issued their first single since 2022: “I Will Not Break.”
Though Disturbed began teasing the new track over socials this week, they officially slipped it onto streamers today (February 20th). “I Will Not Break” is their first piece of new music since they delivered 2022 full-length Divisive, and likewise marks the outfit’s first offering through their own newly-formed Mother Culture Records.
They described the anthem as “a necessary song, about becoming stronger than the forces that constantly try to tear you down.” Disturbed harness that strength through Dan Donegan’s famously brawny-and-downtuned riffage, cement-cracking drum work and the vengeance-themed crooning of frontman David Draiman (“I’ve had enough of feeling terrified, now I’m deciding that I won’t be hiding from anyone”).

While details have yet to arrive in full, it’s noted in a statement that “I Will Not Break” precedes more new music from Disturbed in the near-future.
As previously reported, Disturbed are also kicking off their The Sickness 25th anniversary tour later this month. The 34-show trek begins February 2nd in Tampa, Idaho and wraps up May 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The tour features support on select dates from Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Daughtry and Nothing More. You’ll find the full run of dates down below.
