Bilmuri’s gone hog wild. Ahead of his upcoming “Summer Slammer” tour, the country-metalcore adventurist has hit the great outdoors to evade a pack of hunters in his new music video for “More Than Hate.”
The artist’s new standalone single comes caged within a video that presents Bilmuri as the “Hogman,” a mythical woodland hog-cranker currently being tracked by a group of hunters — who are portrayed by Caleb Francis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Knox Morris, and Reese Maslen. They also put out an extended “Hunting the Hogman” video earlier in the week, if you want to get deeper into the lore.
As for the “More Than Hate” video, it features “official Hogman footage captured in 4K,” but plays out with the resolution of a pre-Aughts digital camera. Bilmuri makes his way around the forest while scored by a new tune that brings out country-pop-adjacent hooks and a big-and-beefy breakdown section near the end. Lyrically, he’s discussing how a bad breakup is tearing up his arteries.

As previously reported, Bilmuri launches his “Unstoppable Bilmuri Summer Slammer Tour” next month. It now begins July 14th at Sayreville, New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom, and ends in October — meaning the tour technically wraps in the fall.
