Earlier this month, Head Automatica — the shape-shifting indie-rock project helmed by Glassjaw vocalist Daryl Palumbo — released their first song in 18 years, the industrial-tinged “Bear the Cross.” Last night (May 29th), the band played their first New York City show in 14 years, at Manhattan’s Bowery Ballroom.
If that weren’t momentous enough, Head Automatica’s 15-song setlist included two new songs, the aforementioned “Bear the Cross,” and “Together,” in its live debut.
