We already knew that Fear Factory were set to hit the road with Cavalera this September, during the latter’s tributary Chaos A.D. tour. Now, the industrial-metal vets have announced a nostalgically celebratory headline run of their own, during which they’ll be performing the legendary songs from their 1995 album, Demanufacture.
The newly announced headlining dates begin September 12th at Flagstaff, Arizona’s Orpheum Theater and continue for a week before Fear Factory link up with Cavalera. The band will then be hitting a mix of supporting and headlining sets until the Cavalera tour wraps October 21st at Atlanta, Georgia’s Masquerade, and then Fear Factory have another batch of dates to close out the month before they set sail on the Headbanger’s Boat Cruise.
Fear Factory have confirmed that all of their headline shows will find them celebrating the 30th anniversary of Demanufacture by playing the album in full. The dates with Cavalera, meanwhile, will have them playing a “special nostalgic setlist from our first 2.5 records: Soul of a New Machine, Fear Is the Mindkiller and Demanufacture.”
