In addition to Dethklok’s upcoming “Amonklok Conquest” co-headlining tour with Amon Amarth, Brendon Small and the rest of his comedic death-metal combo will be keeping things uproariously brutal on a separate leg of spring dates.
The newly announced solo headline appearances are mostly on the West Coast, though they technically begin April 26th at Chicago, Illinois’ Aragon Ballroom. The Metalocalypse outfit now also have Left Coast stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland and San Diego.
Support acts have not yet been announced for these five shows, though that info is expected soon. Pre-sale tickets for the new dates begin today (February 17th) at 10 a.m. Pacific, while general ticket sales are live by Friday (February 20th). As previously reported, the joint “Amonklok Conquest” tour finds Dethklok teaming up for a 22-show spring trek with Amon Amarth, as well as opening fantasy metal unit Castle Rat. That joint trip begins April 15th at the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, and officially winds down May 21st at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dethklok’s remaining solo West Coast headline shows begin the next day.
