COHEED AND CAMBRIA team with VEEPS for ‘Father of Make Believe’ livestream release show

Pop-and-prog-rockers Coheed and Cambria have announced they’ll be celebrating the arrival of their forthcoming The Father of Make Believe a few days ahead of schedule, with a newly-revealed record release party now set to stream live from New York City’s Irving Plaza on March 11th.

A press release promotes the upcoming livestream as an “intimate” concert where Coheed will be showcasing songs from the upcoming The Father of Make Believe, as well as other favorites from the veteran outfit’s massive back catalogue. The show precedes the March 14th release of Coheed’s next album, which arrives via Virgin Music Group.

Tickets to see the show up-close in NYC are up for grabs tomorrow (February 28th) over here. The concert, which begins at 9 p.m. ET, will be livestreaming exclusively through Veeps, and you can order the show and assorted pieces of Coheed merchandise over here.

As previously reported, The Father of Make Believe continues the saga-like storyline from the band’s 2022 full-length Vaxis Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind, and has been previewed thus far through the singles “Blind Side Sonny,” “Searching for Tomorrow” and “Someone Who Can.”

Beyond the record release show, Coheed and Cambria are due to drop by Punta Cana, Dominican Republic next month to perform at the inaugural TOOL Live in the Sand festival. They also have their co-headlining “The Infinite Arc” North American tour with Mastodon coming up in May, and likewise have their  “SS Neverender” cruise taking off in November.
