Chevelle let fans know last year that they’d been working on “a whole bunch” of songs, and we’re excited to hear them. With a new, yet-to-be-detailed album release set for later this year, the band have now unfurled a late summer tour schedule that finds them hitting the road with English rockers Asking Alexandria and Boston alt-rockers Dead Poet Society.
Chevelle’s headline tour was announced today (March 25th). While the alt-metal group will be making a series of festival appearances across the spring — including Coachella, Sonic Temple and more — their top-of-the-marquee tour formally kicks off August 7th at San Antonio, Texas’ Boeing Center at Tech Port. The coast-to-coast tour concludes just under two months later on October 2nd at Airway Heights, Washington’s BECU Live at Northern Quest.
Certain pre-sales began today, while general ticket sales go live at 10 a.m. local time on Friday (March 28th). You’ll find more info on the various pre-sale options over here, while Chevelle’s summer tour schedule can be found below.
The details have yet to be delivered behind Chevelle’s follow-up to 2021’s Niratias full-length. Guitarist Pete Loeffler had said, however, that the writing sessions have been “skewing towards heavy.” A press release suggest the record has a late 2025 release date.
