Behemoth Share Insane Image of Nergal Crucifixion With Cryptic Caption

Behemoth are gearing up to announce their highly anticipated new album. Before hitting the road with Slayer on the thrash titans’ farewell tour, the Polish blackened death-metal group spent the first part of the year in the studio recording the follow-up to 2014’s The Satanist, including with an adorable kids choir, and earlier this month (July 2018), they held an exclusive fan listening session of five new songs in a Swedish church. Today (July 25th), the band took shit next level, posting an incredible Renaissance-style image (by artist Sylwia Makris) of frontman Nergal crucified on the cross to social media, along with the provocative caption “GOD=DOG” and, on Twitter, the word “soon.” Album title? Song title? You’ll just have to wait to find out.
