Behemoth are about to trudge The Shit Ov God all over North American concert venues. The extreme metal vets have announced a tour of the U.S. and Canada takes place this spring, and they’re bringing fellow brutalists Deicide, Rotting Christ and Immolation along for the ride.
A press release explains that Behemoth will be playing 26 shows across North America between April and May. Most of these will be club, theater and ballroom shows, though Behemoth are also on-deck to perform at this year’s Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals.
The headlining shows begin April 14th at San Diego, California’s Observatory North Park. The trek runs Eastward and briefly into Canada before looping back for a West Coast finale at Los Angeles, California’s Hollywood Palladium on May 21st.
“This tour is not merely a series of performances; it is a rite, forged in decades of defiance, conviction, and sonic blasphemy,” Behemoth guitarist-vocalist Adam “Nergal” Darski decreed in a statement. “Each band carries its own altar of destruction, its own scripture written in blood, sound, and will. Together, we summon something greater—an unstoppable procession of darkness across the lands.”
He added: “This is the extreme metal underground standing tall, unbroken, and merciless. Prepare yourselves.”
