Description

This commissioned artwork for Revolver’s FEB/MAR 2019 issue by artist and Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon was originally created via mixed media on an 8.5” x 11.8” board and inspired by Nine Inch Nails’ The Downward Spiral. The album, which celebrates its 25th anniversary on March 8th, 2019, contains the raw, abrasive musical and visual statements that became one of metal’s greatest albums that had an impact on generations to come. Similarly, Bannon is well-known throughout the heavy music community for his iconic Jane Doe artwork, creating stylistically-recognizable artwork for many other bands, running the Deathwish Inc. record label and releasing Dunedevil: An Artistic Journey Into Abstraction & Isolation.

Bannon’s print is now available as an 18” x 24” limited-edition silkscreen poster printed by Burlesque of North America. This six-color screen print on white paper is hand-numbered, embossed and signed by the artist.
