Description
This second limited edition of 250 hand-numbered silkscreen slipcases printed by Kayrock Screenprinting in Brooklyn, New York, is a four color, four-layer on Colorplan 270gsm black paper custom-made to perfectly fit, display and protect your magazine. Featuring remarkable updated original artwork from the first, sold-out edition by JONDIX — the painter, illustrator and tattooist is known throughout the heavy music community for his work with YOB, Electric Wizard, Grand Magus and more.
Revolver’s AUG/SEPT 2019 issue was photographed by Travis Shinn and features a massive 22-page story on the prog-metal titans including interviews with each band member.
It’s been 13 years since the last Tool album, 10,000 Days, was released. The world — and the way we interact with each other — has changed immensely since then, and comparatively speaking, the band is entering an almost unrecognizable social and political landscape with their latest record. We spoke with guitarist and visual mastermind Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey, bassist Justin Chancellor and vocalist Maynard James Keenan about what they’ve been up to over the course of the last decade-plus and about the labor-intensive creation of their new LP. “We’re really hard on ourselves, so we don’t pay much attention to people’s expectations,” Carey offers. “I wouldn’t recommend it to the faint of heart — but it works for us.”
Includes a one-year membership to Revolver!

ALSO FEATURING: Killswitch Engage // Philip H. Anselmo // Rhea Ripley // Creeping Death // Battle Jackets // VOWWS // Sharptooth // Wild Side // the HU
